Real Madrid officially announced its signing of the young Spanish striker Carlos Espe from Levante during the ongoing summer transfer window.

In return, Levante announced that the deal has become the largest sale of a player graduating from the club's academy in its history, confirming that Espe's transfer reflects the great development the player has achieved over the past years.
The club did not mention the value of the deal, but the Spanish newspaper AS reported that Levante is insisting on paying the player's release clause estimated at 25 million euros.
Espe joined Levante in the summer of 2022 with the youth team, before quickly establishing himself and leading the team to win the league title, then making his debut with the first team in February 2024.
The striker played a prominent role in Levante's promotion to the Spanish league, after participating in 36 matches in the second division and scoring 6 goals.
The player continued his brilliance in his first season in La Liga, as he played 25 matches and scored 11 goals, crowning himself the team's top scorer, and also won the award for best player in the Spanish league during March, in addition to the award for best player under 23 years old in the competition at the end of the season.
Espe ended his career with Levante after playing 66 matches in the first team's jersey, during which he scored 20 goals, and represented the Spanish national teams under 19 and under 20.
Real Madrid reached its fifth deal in the current summer transfer market, as it included: Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, and Bernardo Silva.
