Turkish club Trabzonspor has reached a preliminary agreement with Brazilian Tottenham striker Richarlison on personal terms, paving the way for his transfer to the team during the current window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Club: Tottenham Hotspur

According to Romano, Richarlison has become strongly open to moving to the Turkish league, while Trabzonspor has placed the Brazilian striker at the top of its priorities to strengthen its attacking line, especially as the transfer window in Turkey remains open until September 4.

Should he move to Trabzonspor, Richarlison would earn three times his salary at Tottenham.

Despite reaching an agreement with the player, Trabzonspor's management has so far failed to agree with Tottenham on the transfer fee.

Tottenham previously rejected two offers worth €15 million and €20 million respectively, and Trabzonspor is expected to submit a new bid in the coming period.

The Turkish club submitted two bids to secure Richarlison's services, but Tottenham's management rejected both, with negotiations ongoing between the two parties in an attempt to finalize the deal.

Richarlison had previously been linked with a departure from Tottenham after his proposed return to Everton stalled in a deal that would have seen Iliman Ndiaye move to the London club, leaving the Brazilian striker facing a new option to leave the team.

Reports indicate that Richarlison, aged 29, wishes to leave Tottenham, while Trabzonspor seeks to conclude negotiations quickly and finalize the deal before the Turkish transfer window closes.

Trabzonspor had previously signed Mohamed Salah and Fabinho during the current summer transfer window.
