Officials of Al Ahly Club's first football team, headed by Mahmoud El-Khatib, succeeded in securing the signature of a new deal during the current summer transfer window.
Al Ahly reached an agreement with Akram Tawfik to return to the ranks of the Red Castle starting from the new season once again.
Al-Shamal Qatari Club announced on Wednesday evening the departure of Akram Tawfik, the first-team football player, during the ongoing summer transfer period.

Akram Tawfik was linked with a return to Al Ahly Club's ranks to compensate for the departure of Tunisian international Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, who transferred to Al-Shamal Club.
An Al Ahly source confirmed to Botola that Akram Tawfik signed contracts to join the team for 3 seasons.
The source added: "Procedures are underway for Akram Tawfik to travel to Spain to join the team's current training camp there."
Al Ahly is currently holding a training camp in Spain in preparation for the new season's competitions.
