Al-Ittihad Saudi FC midfielder Mukhtar Ali is undergoing medical examinations following an injury sustained during the match against Al-Nassr, which concluded the fifth round showdown of the Saudi Roshn League.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh," the results of Mukhtar Ali's examination will determine either his return date to training or his enrollment in a rehabilitation and medical program in the coming period.

Mukhtar Ali suffered an adductor muscle injury, forcing German coach Jens Wissing to bring on the new signing, Colombian professional Richard Ríos.

Since joining "The Admiral" this summer, Mukhtar Ali has participated in five matches across all competitions, though he has neither scored nor assisted any goals.

Meanwhile, in the opposing camp, specifically at Al-Nassr FC, French winger Kingsley Coman is undergoing an X-ray examination in Riyadh after sustaining an injury during the Clásico.

A source told the newspaper "Al-Riyadh" that Coman will undergo an X-ray following his hamstring injury; the scan will determine whether the injury is a muscle strain or a tear of some degree.

Ayman Yahya replaced Coman in the 60th minute of the match, which saw Al-Nassr suffer their first defeat of the season with a 2-1 loss, relinquishing the league top spot to their rival Al-Hilal, who achieved a perfect record with 15 points.

Al-Ittihad is scheduled to play their next league match on Tuesday against Al-Fayha. Meanwhile, Al-Nassr will host their opponent Abha as part of the sixth round of the Saudi Roshn League competitions.
