Qatari striker and Al-Gharafa player Issa Walid has announced his signing with Saudi club Al-Ahli for three seasons, starting from the current campaign.

The Qatar youth national team striker and Al-Gharafa player stated that he has signed with Al-Ahli and is currently in Jeddah to begin his journey with "The Prestigious Club."

The 18-year-old added in exclusive remarks to the Saudi newspaper Okaz that he preferred joining Al-Ahli over other offers from major Saudi clubs.

Issa Walid was born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and also holds Qatari nationality. He represented "Al-Anabi" (the Maroons) at the FIFA U-17 World Cup hosted by Doha last year.

According to the young player's statistics on the global website Transfermarkt, he has appeared in only one official match for Al-Gharafa's first team and played seven games for the Qatar U-17 national team, without scoring any goals.

Al-Ahli returned to the winning path domestically by defeating Al-Riyadh 5-0 last Friday, following losses in their previous two matches against Al-Kholood (3-1) and Al-Hilal (3-0).

It is worth noting that Al-Ahli will face Al-Qadsiah next Tuesday evening in the highlight match of Matchday 6 of the Saudi Roshn League.
