Until now, there is no agreement between Barcelona and Manchester City, but all parties hope to reach an agreement in the coming days so that Rodri can move to the Spotify Camp Nou stadium.
The player's vacation was scheduled to end today, Thursday, with him joining Manchester City's training on Friday morning.
However, the newspaper "Sport" confirmed that Rodri requested special permission not to travel to England in order to wait until negotiations between the two clubs conclude.
