The Argentine national team is likely to make 4 changes to the starting lineup during the match against Egypt.
The Egyptian national team will play against Argentina in the round of 16 of the World Cup, at seven in the evening on Tuesday.
Hours earlier, the famous Argentine journalist Gaston Edul revealed that Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni would make three confirmed changes to the
starting lineup.
Meanwhile, he said hours before the match that there might be an additional change in Argentina's starting lineup.
Argentina's changes include the participation of Julian Alvarez in attack instead of Lautaro Martinez.
Scaloni's substitutions in the lineup are as follows, according to Edul:
Nicolas Tagliafico instead of Facundo Medina
Leandro Paredes instead of Thiago Almada
Julian Alvarez instead of Lautaro Martinez
Edul did not clarify the identity of the fourth player likely to enter the lineup.
Egypt had won in the round of 32 against Australia on penalties after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, Argentina defeated Cape Verde 3-2.
