Sherif Mokhtar, the Egyptian Consul in Houston, USA, received the Egyptian national team delegation upon the team's arrival in Dallas.
The Egyptian national team is preparing to face Australia on Friday in the Round of 32 of the World Cup in Dallas, Texas.
This took place in the presence of Khaled El-Darandaly, Vice President of the Football Association and head of the delegation, and board members Hamada El-Sherbiny, Mostafa Abu Zahra, Mohamed Abu Hussein, and Tarek Abu El-Enein.
The Egyptian national team delegation arrived in the American city of Dallas in preparation for facing Australia.
The plane landed in Dallas in the early hours of Thursday morning, Cairo time.
The Egyptian national team held its training session at 11:00 AM Spokane time – 9:00 PM Cairo time – before heading to Dallas.
Afterward, the delegation departed for Dallas at 4:00 PM Spokane time – 2:00 AM Cairo time – on a private plane.
The flight lasted three and a half hours, with the team delegation arriving at 9:30 AM Dallas time.
The Australian national team had arrived in Dallas on Wednesday, as they preferred to be there more than 48 hours before the match time.
The national team held its training session with Mohamed Salah participating in the group training.
Meanwhile, the duo Mohamed Abdelmonem and Ahmed Fatouh performed rehabilitative exercises.
The Egyptian national team had qualified for the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup as the runner-up of Group G with 5 points, trailing the group leader, Belgium, only on goal difference.
It is worth noting that the winner of this match will face the winner of the match between world champions Argentina and Cape Verde.
