The Egyptian national team delegation arrived in the American city of Dallas in preparation for facing Australia.
The Egyptian national team will meet Australia on Friday at 9:00 PM at the Dallas stadium.
The plane landed in Dallas in the early hours of Thursday morning, Cairo time.
The Egyptian national team held its training session at 11:00 AM Spokane, USA time – 9:00 PM Cairo time – before heading to Dallas.
Afterwards, the delegation departed for Dallas at 4:00 PM Spokane time – 2:00 AM Cairo time – aboard a private aircraft.
The flight took 3 hours and 30 minutes, with the team delegation arriving at 9:30 PM Dallas time.
The Australian national team had arrived in Dallas on Wednesday, preferring to be there more than 48 hours before the match.
The team conducted its training session with Mohamed Salah participating in the group drills.
Meanwhile, the duo Mohamed Abdelmonem and Ahmed Fatouh underwent rehabilitative training.
The Egyptian national team had qualified for the Round of 32 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, finishing second in Group Seven with 5 points, advancing only on goal difference ahead of group leaders Belgium.
It is worth noting that the winner of this match will face the winner of the encounter between Argentina, the world champions, and Cape Verde.
