Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egyptian national team, demanded that no mistakes be made during the second half of the match against Australia, taking place this evening, Friday, in the 2026 World Cup.

Ibrahim Hassan said in statements on "beIN Sports" during halftime: "The work we did appeared on the field during the first half, we worked on Australia's weak point, and their strength lies in set pieces and long balls, and we succeeded in dealing with them."
He added: "We succeeded in standing well inside the penalty area, but it is essential not to make any mistakes."
He continued: "The match is extremely difficult, and Australia is trying to create opportunities in any way by exploiting their physical strength."
He concluded: "For us, we will not retreat to defense in the second half, we will strive to score a second and third goal, and we must come out of the match qualified and having achieved our goal."
