Wael Riyad is pleased with the youth national team's victory over Tunisia

Wael Riyadh, the head coach of Egypt's U-20 national team (born in 2007), expressed his great happiness with the victory achieved by the Pharaohs over Tunisia in the North African Youth Championship.

Egypt's youth team defeated their counterpart, Tunisia, by two goals to one, in a match that took place this evening, Wednesday, at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium, as part of the third round of the North African Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations for Youth.

Wael Riyadh said in statements to ON Sport channel after the match: "I congratulate the entire Egyptian people, the players, the technical staff, the board of directors of the Football Association, and Shawky Gharib... Everyone worked hard with us, and we also put in a lot of effort."

He added: "We have not officially qualified yet, but I am letting the players celebrate the win on the same day as the match. However, by midnight, we will close this chapter and focus on the next game."

The coach of Egypt's youth team revealed three weapons that will lead his team to achieve accomplishments: having confidence, humility, and responsibility.

He continued: "We will seek official qualification in the upcoming match, and then we will celebrate advancing to the Africa Cup of Nations. But with confidence, humility, manliness, and responsibility, we can achieve everything."

Wael Riyadh concluded his statements saying: "We have two matches ahead against Algeria and Morocco, both very strong teams... The qualifiers in the North African region are very similar to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations itself."
