Egypt's U-20 national team, born in 2007, managed to secure a victory against Tunisia with two goals to one, within the framework of the North African qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations for Youth.
The Egyptian under-20 team faced its Tunisian counterpart at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in the North African qualifiers for the under-20 category, as part of the third round of competitions.

Egypt is hosting the North African Football Union qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations under-20, from September 24 until October 6, with the participation of the teams: Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
Mohannad Al-Shami opened the scoring for the Egyptian national team with a penalty kick in the 16th minute, and Mohamed Hamad scored the second goal in the 32nd minute, before Tunisia reduced the deficit with their first goal in the 66th minute through Anis Al-Saidi.
Egypt's youth national team tops the standings of the North African qualifiers with 6 points, while the Tunisian national team remains fourth with 2 points.
