Egypt's ranking in the North African U-20 qualifiers after defeating Tunisia

The Egypt national team for the 2007 birth year, led by head coach Wael Riad, succeeded in topping its group in the North African qualifiers, following a victory over the Tunisian national team in the match held between them this Wednesday evening.

Egypt defeated their Tunisian counterparts two goals to one, during the match played in the third round of the North African (UNAF) qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations under-20 tournament, which will be hosted by Ghana next year.

Egypt had started their journey in these qualifiers last Thursday with a win against Libya (2–0), then received a bye in the second round, which was held last Sunday.

The second round saw Tunisia draw with Morocco (0–0), marking their second consecutive draw after the first match against Algeria ended with a score of (1–1), while Morocco beat Algeria 3-1 this evening.
