What's strange about it? Nothing, Ahmed Al-Sayed Al-Qadi, the son of the head coach, is 14 years old.
This matter sparked controversy, especially given the young age of the performance analyst.
FilGoal.com contacted Al-Sayed Al-Qadi, who stated: "My son Ahmed, born in 2012, played for Z and Al-Qanah teams, and has been working with me for 3 seasons as a performance analyst".
He added, "He worked in my technical staff at Faqous Club and Faqous Youth Center, and during the previous season he devoted himself with me to working at Al-Akhewa Youth Center as a performance analyst".
He continued, "Ahmed loves performance analysis; he prepares videos of the opponent and works on presenting the important clips of their strengths and weaknesses, which we then show to the players".
He pointed out, "Age is not a measure, and he did not receive an identification card due to his young age, but he will receive qualifying courses to work as a performance analyst".
He added, "I helped him during the World Cup to learn from matches and get acquainted with the playing styles of coaches and set pieces".
For his part, Ahmed Al-Qadi told FilGoal.com: "My father is the reason for my attachment to the profession of performance analyst; despite my young age, I perform my duty with him and hope to continue in the profession".
He added, "I was delighted by the shot of Mahmoud Selim, the performance analyst of the Egypt national team, as he provides the players with information against Australia, which facilitated the players' task during shooting".
He concluded, "I still have a lot of time ahead to gain experience, and I aspire to work at a European club in the future".
Al-Qadi took charge of coaching the team last season and led it to a playoff match for promotion to the third division, but lost and will continue for another season in the fourth division next season.
