Italian club Milan announced the signing of Mario Gila coming from Lazio.

The 26-year-old Spanish player signed a transfer contract to Milan until 2031.
According to reports, the deal cost Milan's coffers 25 million dollars, in addition to performance-related bonuses, and Gila will wear the number 34 shirt.
Gila was born in Barcelona but progressed through the youth categories of Real Madrid's academy.
He made his debut with the first team shirt in the 2021-22 season, then later joined Lazio.
During that period, he participated in 120 matches in which the player who plays in the center-back position scored two goals.
Gila represented Spain's youth teams and appeared with the Spain national team shirt 3 times since 2025.
It is mentioned that Milan appointed the Portuguese Ruben Amorim as the team's technical director succeeding Massimiliano Allegri who was dismissed from his position at the end of the season within major administrative changes in the club.
Gila became Milan's second summer signing after the Portuguese Goncalo Ramos who joined from the ranks of French Paris Saint-Germain who joined in a historic deal for the club.
Milan is preparing to start the new season with a match against Torino in the first round of the Italian league.
Milan competes in Europe in the Europa League next season after finishing sixth last season.
