Saudi press reports clarified the extent of the injury sustained by Rakan Al-Ghamdi, the Saudi Al-Nassr team's midfielder.
Al-Ghamdi had suffered an injury during Al-Alami's last training session before facing Damk on September 18th.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Ar-Riyadiyah," scans conducted yesterday evening (Sunday) confirmed that Al-Ghamdi's anterior cruciate ligament is intact.
The report continued that Al-Ghamdi suffered a severe bruise to the cartilage and will undergo therapeutic rehabilitation at the club's medical clinic headquarters, involving running and speed work, according to the program prepared for him by the club doctor.
The Saudi club had announced Al-Ghamdi's return to participate in training sessions on October 15th of this month.
Al-Nassr will play against Diriyah on the evening of October 9th of this month, as part of the eighth round of the Saudi League championship, at Al-Awwal Park stadium.
Al-Alami occupies second place in the Saudi League standings with 16 points, two points behind league leaders Al-Hilal.
Since the start of the season in the Saudi League, Al-Nassr has won five matches, drawn one match, and lost once.
Al-Ghamdi participated in only one match with Al-Alami across all competitions since the beginning of the current season.
