Salem Al-Dawsari, the winger for Saudi club Al-Hilal, has returned to training with his team.
Al-Dawsari had been absent throughout the recent period after undergoing surgery on his knee tendon last July.
The Arriyadiyah newspaper reported that Al-Dawsari participated in part of the team's training session as part of his rehabilitation program for a gradual return to the pitch.
The training sessions also saw the return of Englishman Ollie Watkins after he completed his rehabilitation program due to lower back pain.
Theo Hernandez continued his treatment program for a hamstring injury, as did Ali Lajami, who suffered a thigh muscle injury.
Al-Hilal was given a nine-day break coinciding with the ongoing international break.
The Saudi national team is participating in the 27th Gulf Cup.
The Green Falcons successfully reached the semi-finals, where they are set to face Qatar next Saturday.
Al-Hilal is preparing for the El Clásico against Al-Ittihad on October 10 at Kingdom Arena, in the marquee match of the eighth round of the Saudi League.
Afterwards, Al-Hilal will play against Qatari side Al-Sadd in the AFC Champions League on October 13.
