Al-Hilal Club wishes to sign a star from Barcelona Club during the current summer transfer window, as the Saudi club continues its pursuit to strengthen its squad with distinguished players from European leagues.

The newspaper "Sport" reported, citing the Saudi "Al-Ayam", that Al-Hilal's management is intensifying its efforts to pursue signing Casado in the coming period.
It added that Al-Hilal has submitted several offers to sign Casado approaching 30 million euros, while the leader is preparing to submit a new offer to contract with the midfielder in order to convince Casado himself and Barcelona's management.

The newspaper explained that Al-Hilal is not the only Saudi club interested in signing Casado; Al-Ahli Jeddah also aspires to sign the 22-year-old player, and the green team is closely monitoring Casado's situation.
It continued that Barcelona sees the competition between Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli to sign Casado as being in its interest, as the Blaugrana believes this will enable the player's sale at the required price of 40 million euros.
It stressed that Barcelona's management is confident Casado will not leave for less than the mentioned amount, while the player is not training with the rest of his teammates in anticipation of his departure in the coming period.
It added that Casado felt frustrated after being excluded from participating with Barcelona in the triangular tournament in Italy, where the Blaugrana played against Nottingham Forest and Udinese in friendlies in preparation for the new season, while the player expected to continue training normally until his next destination was determined.
Sport concluded by explaining that selling Casado represents a double gain for Barcelona's management: the first is getting rid of a player who does not fit into the club's plans, and the second is obtaining 40 million euros from his sale, which will create an economic recovery for Barca and save Casado's salary.
