Major General Hossam Hassan has settled on the formation of the Egyptian national team, which will face Australia in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup.
The Egyptian team will face its Australian counterpart at 9 PM this Friday, on the pitch of AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
The Egyptian team qualified for the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup as the second in Group G with 5 points, just behind the leading Belgian team on goal difference.
The Pharaohs managed to draw with Belgium (1-1) in the first round, followed by a historic victory over New Zealand (3-1), and then a draw in the final round against Iran (1-1).
