Mancini led the Italian national team between 2018 and 2023, and during 58 matches he achieved victory in 38, drew in 12 and lost 8.
The Italian national team was crowned under his leadership with the Euro 2020 title, but he failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals.
Then the 61-year-old took over coaching Saudi Arabia afterwards, and during 18 matches he won 7, lost 6 and drew in 6 and left in October 2024.
Mancini took over coaching Al-Sadd in November 2025, before separating from the team last month.
