Saudi press reports revealed today, Tuesday, the desire of Saudi club Al-Ittihad to sell Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri during the current summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old joined the ranks of "Al-Ameed" during the past winter transfer window, arriving from Turkish side Fenerbahçe in a deal worth 15 million euros.
According to Saudi newspaper "Al-Jazeera," Al-Ittihad wishes to sign a new foreign striker as a replacement for Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri.
The newspaper added that the "Al-Ameed" management has asked En-Nesyri to bring an offer that meets the club's financial expectations, in addition to reaching an agreement regarding his dues.
Since joining Al-Ittihad, Youssef En-Nesyri has participated in 18 matches across various competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing one assist, according to statistics from the website "Transfermarkt."
"Al-Ameed" continues its preparations for the new season through its current training camp in Spain, where it faces an Asian match on August 11 against Emirati side Al-Jazira in Abu Dhabi.
The match will be held as part of the qualifying playoff for the league stage of the AFC Champions League Elite, after Al-Ittihad finished last season in fifth place.
