A source from Al-Ahly said toFIlGoal.com :"We have not received any offers from Saudi Al-Fayhaa to include Marwan Attia, as rumored".

The Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya revealed the presence of Marwan Attia and the Nigerian Rafael Onyedika among Jeddah Union's options.
The same newspaper mentioned earlier that the Union administration is studying contracting with Marwan Attia and Imam Ashour, and that it is waiting for the technical file to be resolved by the German Jens Fising, the team's coach, before taking any official steps towards officially negotiating with Al-Ahly.
The duo excelled in the ranks of the Egyptian national team during the 2026 World Cup finals.
Marwan Attia, who is 27 years old, appeared in 250 matches during his career, during which he scored four goals and made 11.
Marwan is linked with a contract with Al-Ahly until the summer of 2029.
