Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiya" discussed the situation of Al-Najma team after its relegation to the Yelo League, following a disappointing season in the Saudi Roshn League.
Al-Najma team is currently in Egypt to hold its preparatory camp in preparation for the new 2026-2027 season, except that the Egyptian professional Nabil Emad "Donga", the team's midfielder, has not joined the camp yet.
Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiya" reported that a number of foreign players have not joined Al-Najma's camp in Egypt, including Nabil Emad "Donga", amid uncertainty over his final position with the team until this moment.
The 30-year-old had been with the Egyptian national team at the 2026 World Cup, which "the Pharaohs" exited in the round of 16 after losing to the Argentina national team 3-2.
"Donga" transferred to Al-Najma during the past winter transfer window, coming from Zamalek, in a deal worth about one million dollars.
The Egyptian midfielder played 12 matches for Al-Najma last season, without scoring or assisting any goals, according to statistics from the "Transfermarkt" website.
