Saudi press reports revealed today, Sunday, the existence of a desire on the part of the Saudi club Al-Fateh to purchase the services of the Egyptian international Ahmed Fattouh, player of Zamalek team, in the current summer transfer period.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Wiam", Al-Fateh club has expressed interest in contracting with Ahmed Fattouh, player of Zamalek team, in the current summer market.
Only one season remains on Ahmed Fattouh's contract with Zamalek club, according to the global "Transfermarkt" website, as the officials of the "White Castle" have not opened the door for negotiations to renew the contract of the Egyptian international.
The 28-year-old is considered one of the youth products of Zamalek team, having been promoted to the first team in 2017, to later become one of the main pillars in the ranks of the "White Knight".
Fattouh was recently present with the Egyptian national team, which participated in the 2026 World Cup, held in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.
This edition witnessed Ahmed Fattouh's injury, causing him to miss the knockout stages, specifically in the matches against Australia and Argentina.
Zamalek team is currently preparing for the start of the new 2026-2027 season, as the "White Knight" will face its opponent Al-Ittihad of Alexandria on August 21, in the beginning of defending its title in the league competition.
Zamalek team won the league title in the past season, after a struggle that extended until the final week with Pyramids and Al-Ahly.
