Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, stated that the proposal contained some ideas worthy of study, while also praising the prioritization of preserving the unity of all member national associations at this stage, describing the decision as wise.
The QFA President affirmed that maintaining the cohesion of the global football family represents a priority at the present time, noting that this approach serves the general interest of the game.
