English club Fulham announced the signing of Alvaro Arbeloa as the team's new coach for the next season.
Marco Silva had departed from coaching Fulham at the end of the past season.
Arbeloa signed for a period of 3 years with English club Fulham.
Arbeloa had departed from coaching Real Madrid at the end of the past season.
Arbeloa said in statements via the club's official website: "It is a great honor for me to begin this new phase at Fulham, the oldest club in London".
He added: "I feel a great responsibility and I am extremely grateful to the officials for the trust they placed in me with Fulham in the English Premier League."
He concluded: "I look forward with great eagerness to experiencing the enthusiastic atmosphere at Craven Cottage stadium with Fulham fans, and starting the preparation period for the new season with the players next week. I am sure that we will have a wonderful journey together".
Arbeloa's first coaching experiences were at the club where he spent much of his playing career, when Florentino Perez sought him to lead Real Madrid's under-14 team.
After winning the league title in his first season, Arbeloa was promoted to coach the under-16 team, although he soon moved to supervise the under-19 team, where he won the treble - the Spanish League, the King's Cup and the Champions Cup - in his first season.
After winning the league again in the 2024/25 season, Arbeloa was appointed coach of the Castilla team, the famous reserve team of Real Madrid, to replace club legend Raul who held the position over the previous six years.
Arbeloa led Real Madrid in a total of 28 matches, achieving victory in 18 matches, drawing in two matches and losing 8 matches.
The Spanish coach failed to achieve any title with the Royal Club during his tenure, after losing the titles of the Spanish League, the Spanish King's Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
