Spanish club Barcelona continues to streamline its squad, having officially announced shortly ago the departure of one player from the Catalan club to another team in the Spanish league.
This summer, Barcelona witnessed the exit of several players such as Ronald Araújo, Robert Lewandowski, and Ferran Torres, alongside youth team members including Álvaro Cortés, Toni Fernández, and Gil Fernández.
According to Barcelona's official statement, Marc Casadó leaves the squad to join Spanish side Deportivo La Coruña, bolstering their ranks as part of the club's new project.
Barcelona clarified that Casadó joins Deportivo La Coruña on loan until the end of the current season, specifically until June 30, 2027.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the contract includes an initial loan with an optional purchase clause valued at €30 million for the midfielder.
The 22-year-old player participated in 75 matches for Barcelona, scoring one goal and providing seven assists. He has won two La Liga titles (2024/25 and 2025/26), the Copa del Rey (2024/25), and the Spanish Super Cup twice (2024/25 and 2026).
