The Spanish Football Federation has announced that Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona star, has won the award for Best Player in La Liga for last season.

The Spanish Federation awarded the young player the title of Best Player in the League.
In addition, he received another award for sporting achievement due to his participation with the Spanish national team in the World Cup.
Lamine Yamal led Barcelona to win both the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup last season.
He also led the Spanish national team to victory in the 2026 World Cup held in the United States, after defeating Argentina in the final.
This award differs from the Best Player in La Liga award, which is presented by the La Liga league association.
