External press reports have revealed the imminent transfer of Darwin Núñez, the Saudi Al-Hilal player, to the Turkish Trabzonspor, during the current summer transfer window.

Darwin Núñez's name is linked to a move to Trabzonspor this summer, to be the second strong deal the club concludes, after signing Mohamed Salah, his former teammate at English Liverpool.

Belgian journalist Sasha Tavolieri confirmed that Núñez's transfer to Trabzonspor has been finalized, indicating that the player will travel to Turkey tomorrow, Saturday, to complete his transfer.

Tavolieri explained via his official account on social media that Al-Hilal club has agreed to a one-season loan deal for Darwin Núñez to Trabzonspor with an option to buy.

Florian Plettenberg, the journalist at Sky Sports network, confirmed the same information, stating that Trabzonspor outbid Beşiktaş in the race to sign the Uruguayan striker.

Plettenberg wrote on his Twitter account: "Núñez will return to Europe immediately to join his former Liverpool teammate, Mohamed Salah, who recently joined the club".

In Saudi Arabia, Al-Riyadiya newspaper stated: "Trabzon club agrees with Al-Hilal to sign the Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez", without revealing any other details related to the deal.

Núñez, who is 27 years old, was teammates with Mohamed Salah for 3 seasons at Liverpool club, before the player moved to Saudi Al-Hilal last summer, while the Egyptian Pharaoh left Anfield at the end of the previous season.

A few days ago, Trabzonspor club announced signing Mohamed Salah, who is 34 years old, in a free transfer deal, with a contract extending for two seasons, where he receives a guaranteed salary of 17 million euros per season.
