Turkish media reports today indicated the desire of one of the Netherlands national team players to move to the ranks of Trabzonspor club, during the current summer transfer window, as the Turkish team has become an attractive destination for players, after signing Mohamed Salah in the past period.
Trabzon contracted with Mohamed Salah during the current summer transfer window, in a free transfer deal, with a contract lasting two seasons until 2028.
But the newspaper "Fanatik" hinted at the possibility of another star moving to Trabzon's ranks in the coming period, namely Memphis Depay, the striker of the Netherlands national team.
Depay has become a free agent, after failing to renew his contract with Corinthians club, and matters between the player and the Brazilian team have indeed reached a dead end.

The newspaper added that Depay sent a message to the Trabzon administration through his agent, stating that he wishes to wear the colors of the Turkish team in the coming period.
It explained that although Depay welcomed playing for Trabzon, the Turkish team is currently focused on finalizing the signing of Darwin Núñez, the star of Al-Hilal club, as the Uruguayan league is a priority for Trabzon.
Many reports confirmed that Trabzon reached an agreement with the Al-Hilal administration to sign Darwin Núñez on loan until the end of the season, with the Saudi team bearing most of the player's salary.
Trabzonspor begins its journey in the upcoming season with a match against Kasımpaşa, next Saturday, March 15, for the first round of the Turkish League.
