Mustafa Büyük, the mayor of Yomra in Trabzon, announced that one of Trabzon's streets will be named after Mohamed Salah.
Mustafa Büyük wrote on his Twitter account: "We are proud that Mohamed Salah, the greatest signing in Turkish football history, will reside in our district."
He added, "By a council decision we will take this week, we have decided to name the street where his house is located 'Mohamed Salah'."
He continued, "We have done our utmost, and now it is Mohamed Salah's turn."
Trabzonspor will face Amedspor on Monday evening at 9:30 PM Cairo time.
The match will be held at Diyarbakır Stadium, home to Trabzonspor, and will be broadcast on beIN Sports 2 with commentary by Mohamed Barakat.
Trabzonspor had previously lost 4-0 to Ferencváros last Thursday, exiting the Europa League and moving to the Conference League.
Following the match, Fatih Tekke announced his resignation from his position, before the management rejected it and he remained in his role.
Mohamed Salah opened his goal-scoring record with Trabzonspor in the previous league match against İstanbul Başakşehir, scoring a brace in a 2-1 victory, and will attempt to continue scoring against Amed.
