Frenchman Nabil Fekir, former Al Jazira player, is close to transferring to Saudi side Abha, who recently promoted to the Saudi Roshn League.
Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported today, Tuesday, that Abha Club reached an agreement with Nabil Fekir to represent the team during the upcoming season.
The newspaper added that the agreement between the two parties stipulates signing a one-season contract, with an option to renew for an additional season, on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old played last season with Al Jazira, participating in 25 matches in which he scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists.
Nabil Fekir has extensive experience in his career, most notably with Olympique Lyonnais, where he played between 2013 and 2019, as well as defending the colors of Real Betis from 2019 to 2024.
Fekir also played for Emirati side Al Jazira for two years, from 2024 to 2026.
