According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiya", Salem Al-Dawsari refused to discuss any offer involving his transfer during the current summer transfer window, with one season left on his contract with Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal's captain is expected to enter the free-agent period next January, after which he will begin discussing offers presented to him and choose the appropriate decision regarding his future.
The 34-year-old had renewed his contract with Al-Hilal last summer, during the tenure of former president Fahd bin Nafel, with a deal extending for two seasons.
The Saudi international played 35 matches for Al-Hilal, totaling 2,447 minutes, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists, according to Transfermarkt.
Salem Al-Dawsari is suffering from a knee tendon injury that will keep him out of action for a month and a half, and he is expected to miss the start of the new season with the "Blue of the Capital".
