Press reports revealed developments regarding the fate of international star Mohamed Salah during the ongoing summer transfer window, amid interest from many clubs in signing him.
And since his departure from English Liverpool immediately after the end of the 2025/2026 season, European clubs as well as clubs from the Saudi and American leagues have shown great interest in signing the Egyptian Pharaoh.
A meeting that decides Mohamed Salah's future
Perhaps the latest and most prominent club that officially tried to sign Salah is Turkish Beşiktaş, but matters between the two parties have temporarily stalled due to financial disagreements.
According to what the famous Turkish journalist Yağır Sapuncuoğlu mentioned, Mohamed Salah will hold a meeting with his agent Rami Abbas to decide his position on the offers available on his table this summer.
The transfer market expert added via his account on the "X" platform: "Salah has so far received official offers from the Turkish Super League, in addition to the American league and from Saudi Arabia; in the upcoming meeting these offers will be discussed."
The Turkish newspaper "Sabah" revealed some financial details from Beşiktaş's negotiations with Mohamed Salah, where the 34-year-old player was offered a salary of approximately 20 million euros including bonuses, and an agreement was reached regarding the commission.
But the player's agent Rami Abbas initially requested a commission of 7.5 million euros, then later reduced it to 5 million euros; however, Salah's representatives subsequently set an exorbitant price for his image rights.
The report noted that "Mo"'s representatives demanded 50% of the club's share from sales of all products related to Salah in Turkey, including jerseys, in addition to all sales profits in Egypt.
