The curtain has fallen on the 2026 World Cup competitions, hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, with the Spanish national team crowned champion for the second time in its history after defeating Argentina in the final match.
After the end of the tournament, the International Federation of Association Football "FIFA" announced the final ranking of the 48 participating teams, which is based on the teams' results in the various stages of the competition.
The Egyptian national team came in 15th place, achieving its best appearance in the World Cup, after reaching the round of 16, recording its first qualification for the knockout stages.
