Journalistic reports revealed that the delay in the official announcement of the Ivorian winger Yan Diomande's transfer from Leipzig to Real Madrid is due to a dispute between the player's agents.
The newspaper "The Athletic" reported last week that Real Madrid was expected to reach a decisive and final agreement with the German club regarding the 19-year-old winger, after Paris Saint-Germain withdrew from the negotiations.

But the newspaper "AS" mentioned that Max Gradiel (with his company Maxidel Management) stands on one side, and on the other side stands Roc Nation, the influential multinational company owned by rapper Jay-Z.
Roc Nation currently manages Diomande's affairs, but Maxidel has filed a complaint with the International Football Federation "FIFA" accusing the company of breaching the contract, given that Real Madrid negotiated with it.
Maxidel was the company that brought the Ivorian player from Leganes to Leipzig last year, and the dispute is not merely an internal matter between the two companies, but affects the transfer deal between the German club and Real Madrid, and may even threaten the registration of the promising winger
The situation appears to be beyond Real Madrid's control, and the solution may lie in granting Diomande a temporary license until the issue of part of the total transfer fees is resolved, and beyond that everything is proceeding as planned, especially regarding the amounts due to Leipzig club, with the necessary documents prepared, and the new player's contract with the Merengues.
The "AS" report indicated that FIFA's role remains active, as the latter is known for its strictness and firmness in applying regulations related to agents' practices and players' agencies, and it strives to monitor them, and the complaint was reviewed immediately.
The regulations threaten the possibility of delaying the deal or refusing its registration in the International Transfer System (ITC), if there is an ongoing dispute between the agents regarding the player's representation rights.
Moreover, clubs have a great interest in clarity, because paying a commission to the wrong agent may also lead to sanctions from FIFA.
A few months ago, driven by the ambition to reach broader horizons, Diomande agreed to work with Roc Nation, which enjoys a well-established position in this field and has a strong presence in Brazil through Frederico Pena, who manages the affairs of Vinicius, Endrick, and others.
In light of these developments, Real Madrid is negotiating with Roc Nation and is currently awaiting a quick resolution to this dispute between the agents, just as Diomande himself is waiting in Leipzig and is already considering returning to the Spanish capital.
Last season, Diomande recorded 12 goals and provided 9 assists in 33 Bundesliga matches, missing only one match due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations in December and January, helping Leipzig finish third and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
