Al-Nassr Club, the Saudi League champion, gave the green light for the departure of its player Wesley Teixeira, the capital team's winger, during the current summer transfer period.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiya" reported that Wesley will move to the Brazilian team Cruzeiro next season, where the "Yellow of the Capital" will bear part of the player's salary.
The newspaper "Al-Riyadiya" added that Australian coach Ange Postecoglou gave Al-Nassr's management the green light to complete Wesley's transfer deal, as he excluded the player from his technical calculations.
Wesley had transferred to Al-Nassr in the summer of 2024 coming from the Brazilian Corinthians, where his contract with the "Global" extends until the summer of 2028.
The Brazilian player participated, during a season and a half, in 40 matches with Al-Nassr in various competitions, where he was able to score five goals and provide the same number of assists.
It is scheduled for Al-Nassr to open its title defense journey in the Saudi League by facing Al-Fateh on August 15 of this month, within the competitions of the 2026-2027 season.
