beIN Sports network revealed the matches that achieved the highest viewership rates during the 2026 World Cup in the North Africa and Middle East region.
beIN Sports media group announced record figures in viewership and engagement during its coverage of the 2026 World Cup, which was held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The Egypt national team featured in two matches on the list of the top 10 most-watched matches.
The Egypt vs Argentina match ranked second after more than 192 million people watched it in North Africa and the Middle East.
The network revealed that 6.2 billion cumulative views were recorded across beIN Sports channels throughout the tournament, while the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina became the highest-viewed broadcast in the network’s history, with 245.4 million viewers in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The figures were not limited to television broadcasts only; the network also revealed 7.77 billion online video views, in addition to 16.96 billion social media post views across various platforms during the tournament.
beIN Sports social media accounts also gained 12.2 million new followers, reflecting the clear scale of audience engagement with the network’s World Cup coverage.
