Erkut Çelebi, Chairman of the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the Turkish team's contract with Mohamed Salah, explaining that the Egyptian star strongly contributed to tourism activity and the arrival of people to the city, especially from Egypt and North Africa.
Trabzonspor contracted with Mohamed Salah during the current summer transfer window, in a contract lasting two seasons, with an annual salary of 17 million euros.

Mohamed Salah was received in a legendary manner by Trabzon fans last Thursday, as the Egyptian star prepares to play his first match with the team next week against Kasimpasa in the Turkish league.
Çelebi said in statements reported by the "61saat" network: "With the signing of Mohamed Salah, there has been a great demand from tourists for our city, not only from Egypt, but also from North Africa, and we are now seeking to expand the scope of tourism over the next 12 months".
Trabzonspor has achieved great gains from selling Mohamed Salah on the economic level, from selling the Egyptian star's jerseys, in addition to the great demand for the Turkish club's season tickets.
