Yalla Koura has learned that Hani Abu Rida, president of the Football Association, has tasked Shawky Gharib, the association's technical director, with discussing the women's football file and investigating the reasons for the African exit.
Shawky Gharib is expected to hold a meeting with Mohamed Kamal, technical director of Egypt's women's national team, to discuss this file.
It is worth noting that this was the Egyptian national team's third participation in the Africa Cup of Nations for Women, following its group stage exits in its previous two appearances in 1998 and 2016.
