Scottish journalist Ryan McGinlay, from the 'Celticway' network, praised the abilities of Egypt national team star Haissem Hassan following his outstanding performances with Celtic during the recent period of this season.
Celtic signed Haissem Hassan during the last summer transfer window, bringing him in from Real Oviedo for approximately 7 million euros, on a four-year contract with the option of a fifth season.
Although Haissem Hassan started the season as a substitute for Celtic, the situation changed for the Egyptian international, who has now become a key and indispensable player in manager Martin O'Neill's lineup.

Haissem Hassan contributed to Celtic's thrilling 2-1 victory over St. Mirren last Saturday in the Scottish Premiership.
McGinlay believes that Haissem Hassan will be difficult to stop once he regains full fitness, noting that the player recently joined Celtic and did not undergo a strong pre-season preparation due to his participation in the World Cup with the Egyptian national team.
McGinlay wrote on his official 'X' account: "Haissem Hassan will be a clear threat to opponents' defenses for Celtic if he regains his physical fitness and becomes more match-ready."
He concluded: "He is truly a controversial player, and I thought he was a major nuisance for St. Mirren last night."
Haissem Hassan, along with the rest of the Celtic squad, is preparing for an anticipated match next Wednesday, September 9, against St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
Haissem Hassan is going to be a very dangerous outlet for Celtic once he’s fully fit and up to match sharpness. He’s already dividing opinion on here, but I thought he was a menace last night. — Ryan McGinlay (@TheRyanMcGinlay) September 6, 2026@TheRyanMcGinlay
