The new arrival from Stuttgart, Mirza Katović, was also included, whom Barcelona signed from the German club for 3 million euros, and who plays in midfield.

Barcelona rejected Hamza Abdel Karim's departure on loan during the previous summer transfer window, and is now working on improving the Egyptian international's contract, raising his release clause from 15 million euros to 150 million euros.
