Hossam Hassan said in statements during his lunch with President Sisi, today Saturday: "I thank the players, they lived up to expectations."
The technical director of the Pharaohs continued his statements saying: "I told the national team players that we are not less than any opponent."
The Egyptian national team had returned to Cairo, Friday morning, after returning from the United States of America, following the end of the Pharaohs' journey in the 2026 World Cup tournament.
It is worth noting that the Pharaohs had qualified for the round of 32 after finishing second in the group seven standings, with 5 points, then won in the round of 32 against Australia, on penalties, with a score of 4-2.
