Fulham Club officially announced its signing of the Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid for an undisclosed financial amount.

The 22-year-old striker signed a contract extending until the summer of 2031, with an option allowing the club to extend it for an additional year.
Gonzalo Garcia said after signing the contracts: "I am very grateful and very happy to be here."
He added: "I thank the club's management and Alvaro Arbeloa for the trust they have placed in me, and I am very excited to begin this experience."
For his part, Fulham executive director Tony Khan said: "I am delighted to welcome Gonzalo Garcia to Fulham. He is a very young and talented striker who is excited to join Fulham and play in the Premier League."
He added: "We all believe he will be a great addition to the team and will prove to be a standout player under the leadership of Alvaro Arbeloa."
Gonzalo began his career in the Real Madrid academy at the age of ten, before spending one season in the Real Mallorca academy and returning to the Royal Club in 2019.
Under the guidance of Alvaro Arbeloa in the youth teams, his career saw remarkable development, especially in the 2023-2024 season, when he scored 35 goals and led the under-19 team to a historic treble.
In the following season, he excelled with Real Madrid Castilla, contributing to 29 goals in 36 matches by scoring 25 goals and providing four assists, 19 of which came during his appearances on the right and left wings.
That season also saw him score his first goals for Real Madrid's first team, netting the late winner against Leganes in the Spanish King's Cup.
Gonzalo captured attention during the Club World Cup, winning the top scorer award with four goals and one assist, despite Real Madrid's exit in the semi-finals.
He was praised at the time by head coach Xabi Alonso, who compared him to Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez.
In the past season, Gonzalo scored eight goals and provided three assists in 39 matches for Real Madrid.
His standout performance came against Real Betis, when he scored a hat-trick in a 5-1 victory, with his three goals coming in different ways: a header, a direct shot after controlling the ball with his chest, and a skillful touch inside the penalty area.
His performances earned him consideration for the Spanish national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup, and although he was not included in the final squad, he made his first senior international appearance in a preparatory friendly match.
He has previously represented Spain's under-21 team, scoring six goals in seven matches while wearing the number 7 shirt, the same number he will wear at Fulham.
