Tunisian press reports addressed, on this Saturday, new developments in the file of Algerian winger Youssef Belaïli with Tunisian club Espérance.
The Algerian winger’s contract with the “Bab Souika” team had expired during the current summer, yet the Espérance administration wishes to renew his contract.
According to Tunisian radio station “Mosaïque,” Youssef Belaïli wants to continue his career with Espérance, after the past hours witnessed positive developments in this file.
The Tunisian radio added that the player contacted the club’s officials and expressed his approval of the latest offer presented to him.
Espérance had made an offer to Belaïli stipulating a one-season signing, with the contract to begin after the end of the suspension imposed on him by the International Federation of Association Football “FIFA.”
Belaïli’s deal is considered controversial, especially after Mouloudia Club of Algiers announced that the player will represent the team that won the Algerian league title in the upcoming season.
