The Egyptian Football Association announced the final formation of the Egyptian Referees Committee for the new 2026/2027 season.
The Association indicated that the committee was formed under the chairmanship of Essam Abdel Fattah.
The new committee includes the presence of Jamal Al-Ghandour, Samir Othman, and Mahmoud Ashour, who recently participated in the 2026 World Cup as a video assistant referee.
The committee came in full as follows:
President: Essam Abdel Fattah.
Vice President: Jamal Al-Ghandour.
Vice President: Samir Othman.
Member: Ahmed Wajih.
Member: Mahmoud Ashour.
The draw for the Egyptian League for the new season is scheduled to be held next Wednesday, corresponding to August 5.
Zamalek had won the Egyptian League title during the past season, while Pyramids won the Egypt Cup title.
