Former Football Association president Ahmed Mujahid confirmed that Al-Ahly Club was not a party to Zamalek's African license crisis, which the White Club obtained before the deadline.
Zamalek Club had revealed receiving an official notification from the Confederation of African Football "CAF" confirming it had obtained the African license and its participation in the African Champions League next season.
Zamalek and Pyramids will participate in the African Champions League, while Al-Ahly and Z will compete in the Confederation Cup.
Ahmed Mujahid said in statements on "MBC Egypt" channel: "Zamalek succeeded in settling all its affairs on time for all clubs, which was July 25, and Al-Ahly was not a party to the Zamalek license crisis at all, but the media was the party involved in the matter."
The former Football Association president concluded: "Al-Ahly has the right to object to this matter, but this did not happen, and I do not know whether Al-Ahly filed a complaint or not, but I do not think that occurred, and if the Football Association took illegal measures, then the interested club has the right to speak, but I believe the matter is over."
It is worth noting that Zamalek Club announced the continuation of Moataz Jamal in his position as technical director of the team, in addition to the start of the team's preparations next Friday.
