Haitham Hassan, the Egyptian national team star, has returned to Real Oviedo club, to prepare for the new season, amid great ambiguity about the future of the right winger with the Spanish team.
Haitham Hassan has returned again to be present in the ranks of Real Oviedo, following the end of the summer vacation he received, due to his participation with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, Canada, America, and Mexico edition.
Real Oviedo club account on the "X" platform published a video clip showing Haitham Hassan heading to the training ground.
Real Oviedo wrote on this video: "The Pharaoh in his home".

Haitham Hassan commented on his return to Real Oviedo training, saying: "Very happy to return, I need more sleep now, I returned to my home".
There is a lot of ambiguity about Haitham Hassan's future with Real Oviedo, as the contract of the 24-year-old with the Spanish club ends at the end of next season.
All press and media reports confirmed Haitham Hassan's desire to leave Real Oviedo, and seek a more important step in his football career, especially after the team's relegation to the Spanish Second Division.
Haitham Hassan has been linked with a move to many European clubs during the current summer transfer period, such as Scottish Celtic, French Olympique Marseille, in addition to Turkish Trabzonspor.
Haitham Hassan played brilliantly with the Egyptian national team in the World Cup, and contributed to the Pharaohs reaching the round of 16 of the competition, before losing honorably to Argentina 3-2.
