Scottish club Celtic has announced its official squad list for the Europa League league phase, comprising 25 players, including seven new signings who joined the team during the summer transfer window.

The newcomers include Colombian Camilo Durán, Mika Bower, Egyptian Haitham Hassan, Kasper Høgh, alongside the club's latest acquisitions Oliver Sørensen, Jordan Lotomba, and goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Celtic will begin their Europa League campaign with a home match against Hungarian side Ferencváros on Thursday, September 17, at 8:00 PM.

Martin O'Neill, Celtic's manager, stated in comments to the club's official website: "There were some very difficult decisions to make when selecting the Europa League squad."

He added: "It's a tough list, and for me, the most important thing is domestic football. Of course, we are disappointed about not qualifying for the Champions League, but the Europa League remains extremely competitive, and we want to give our best performance."

He continued: "We want the players we've signed to make their mark initially in the domestic arena, as that is our top priority at this stage. Afterward, we'll have the opportunity to make changes in February if we are still in contention."
