The Algerian national team calls up Ahmed Nazeer, Pyramids striker.

Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali, a Pyramids FC player, has received a call-up to join the Algerian national team during the training camps scheduled for September and October.

Ben Bouali joined Pyramids FC at the end of the summer transfer window, arriving from the Hungarian club Győri ETO.

Pyramids FC revealed through its media center that the Algerian Football Federation requested Ben Bouali's inclusion in the national team starting from September 21. He will remain with the Desert Warriors until October 6 and will return directly to Pyramids FC the following day.

The Algerian Federation's letter clarified that the national team will play two official matches against Zambia and Burundi in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, in addition to another international friendly match according to the international calendar.

Ben Bouali has not yet played any match wearing the Pyramids FC jersey, as he was absent from the squad list in the first two rounds of the league.

He sat on the bench during the 1-0 victory over Al-Masry in the third round.

The Algerian player is included in Pyramids FC's squad to face Kenya's Gor Mahia in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League tomorrow, Sunday.

Nadhir, aged 26, has played 5 matches wearing the jersey of the Desert Foxes, participated in the World Cup, and scored a goal against Jordan.
